The Core Academy Series Violin comes fully set up and ready to play with the following: ebony pegs, endbutton, fingerboard, nut and saddle; inlaid purfling; hand-carved aged maple back, sides, & neck; hand-carved aged spruce top; French bridge; tailpiece with built-in tuners; chinrest; D’Addario Prelude strings*.
The back and sides of the CORE A10 violin are plain maple (very little or no flame).
The back and sides of the CORE A15 violin are flamed maple.
